The special projects are initiatives of high strategic value, designed to accelerate the implementation of the Plan and strengthen the School’s positioning. They make several cross-cutting priorities more visible: institutional collaboration, talent attraction, social mobility, innovation, knowledge transfer and contribution to public debate
Pisa University and Research System
Strengthening collaboration among the university and research institutions of the Pisa area, by enhancing critical mass, shared infrastructure, joint projects and the international positioning of the Pisa system.
MeMo – Merit and Social Mobility
Developing a structured model of orientation and support for talented students, with particular attention to those from less advantaged backgrounds, strengthening educational equity and access to excellent higher education.
Innovation Hub
Building an innovation platform capable of connecting frontier research, companies, investors and technology transfer. The Innovation Hub can become the place where vertical research flagships and horizontal connections among the School’s areas of expertise are enhanced.
Sant’Anna Forum
Strengthening the dialogue between research, public policies, institutions and society, placing the knowledge produced by the School at the service of public debate and decision-making processes
